Jinja
Just a short taxi-bus ride away, Jinja is located on the shores of Lake Victoria and is at the source of the Great African Nile. Here, many enjoy white water rafting, kayaking, bungee jumping or fishing along the banks. There is a great variety of wildlife along the Nile, including birds and monkeys. Accommodation, food and shopping is plentiful here as is hospitality. There are golf courses, a large brewery and picnic areas that are easily accessible in Jinja.

Sipi Falls
Sipi Falls consists of 3 waterfalls and lies on the edge of Mount Elgon National Park. Sipi Falls is to the North-East of Iganga and a popular stop for many. Breathtakingly beautiful, it is a relaxing break from any city and the adventurous few may even decide to go abseiling right next to the waterfalls! Otherwise, for rest and relaxation in nature's best, Sipi has it all.

Mount Elgon
Mount Elgon is the 4th largest mountain in East Africa and the 2nd highest in Uganda. This Mountain is for all ages and comes with the benefits of both scenery and wildlife. It reaches 4,155 meters and is packed with flora and fauna. The park is host to 4 different caves which are often found with elephants and buffalo that come to lick the natural salt found within the cave. Other animal life found on the mountain includes forest monkeys, antelope and over 300 bird species. Waterfalls, gorges, cliffs, mesas, hot springs and calderas are all found on Mt. Elgon.
